From our early beginnings to today’s thriving philanthropy tech space, one thing remains constant: TAG exists because of the trust, dedication, and passion of our members. We’re thrilled to announce that in 2026, for our 20th anniversary, the TAG Conference will return to our homebase—Chicago, IL! Thank you for being an essential part of this story. During #TAG2025, we had the honor of bestowing awards to TAG members for their outstanding dedication and commitment to service. The “Member of the Year” award went to the MacArthur Foundation Jacob Graveldinger for his unwavering spirit of service. Jake has consistently gone above and beyond in providing pro-bono support to organizations like Solar Responders — a nonprofit dedicated to equipping Puerto Rico’s fire stations with solar and battery storage systems in the wake of Hurricane Maria — which is a testament to his commitment to the service of others through his technical expertise and creative problem-solving. Join us in celebrating Jacob Graveldinger for his incredible impact and generosity!

A friend and mentor to many, Katherine serves as an inspiration by modeling values-based leadership. Join us in celebrating her contributions across the sector!

We've wrapped up the agenda on an inspiring second day of #TAG2025 in Atlanta. From the cybersecurity keynote panel this morning to the lightning talks to finish the afternoon, we've heard from speakers and community members about how to navigate change, build resilience, and lead with purpose. Keynote speaker Chris Wiggins encapsulated those principles in his message to TAG members: "You are working on some of the most important problems...You are working on care at a time when care is threatened...I encourage you to do it, but not be distracted by whatever is the latest technology...stay at it." #StayAtIt #cybersecurity #data #carework #TAGcommunity

Day two we kick things off with a breakfast cybersecurity panel with Shauna Dillavou, Lisa Kaplan, Sasha Cohen O'Connell, and Sarah P. followed by our lunch keynote with Chris Wiggins! With lots of exciting breakouts and opportunities for networking between.

😢😢😢 I’m sad and jealous to miss my first Technology Association of Grantmakers conference in years! But I know Carrie Watkins and Chrissy Haskell will represent Blackbaud brilliantly. I’ll just miss seeing all my friends! #TAG2025 Stop by the booth to benefit from it being (wo-)manned by 2 people smarter & more competent than me!
Off to a bright start at #TAG2025. Excited to talk with grantmakers about their processes, data, and AI.
