Last week, the Fireblocks team held a three-day workshop with Nonghyup Bank to advance its stablecoin-based VAT refund proof of concept, supported by our partners at Mastercard (Andre Ng) and Ava Labs (Justin Kim). Led by NH Bank—one of South Korea’s five largest banks—the PoC aims to digitize VAT refunds for inbound tourists and validate a real-time settlement model leveraging stablecoins. Our deepest gratitude goes to CHANGBO RYU, SOOJEONG LEE and the entire NH Bank team for their warm hospitality. We look forward to seeing the PoC progress and celebrating its success together!
