Alzheimer's disease affects millions of American families, yet too many face barriers to early detection and timely care. The Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act represents a critical breakthrough in addressing this challenge. This bipartisan legislation would give Medicare the ability to cover routine dementia blood test screening – revolutionary technology that can detect Alzheimer's years before symptoms appear. Unlike traditional detection methods, these blood-based tests offer a less invasive, more accessible pathway to early detection. For families facing Alzheimer's, early detection means more time to plan, access treatments, and make informed decisions about care. The #ASAPAct ensures these life-changing tools can reach the Medicare beneficiaries who need them most.
