Security is foundational to everything we do at Google Public Sector, and I’m proud to share an important milestone in that commitment. We’ve officially achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. This confirms that our internal systems meet the Department of Defense’s rigorous standards for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). This isn’t just about compliance, it’s about trust. It ensures we can continue to support the DoD responsibly while empowering the broader Defense Industrial Base with secure, advanced cloud and AI capabilities to build a resilient future. I’m proud of the team that made this possible, and the ongoing partnership that drives us forward. Read more on the Google Cloud blog: https://lnkd.in/eCXhuF-7

  • At the recent Google Public Sector Summit, we challenged our partners to build AI agents that could directly accelerate their missions—and the results were nothing short of incredible. 💡 Congrats to our 4 competition winners who built agents to streamline internal processes, enhance security, and drive efficiency for the public sector: ▪️ Invoice Extraction agent by SZNS Solutions (speaker: Nam Nguyen) ▪️ Google Beam Integration agent by Deloitte (speaker: Tariq Lateef) ▪️ Policy Manager agent by Thoughtworks (speaker: Joseph Murray) ▪️ GSA Vendor Exclusion agent by Daston Corporation (speaker: Corey Westerman) Their solutions quickly translate complex challenges into actionable, time-saving solutions. Our partners are our mission accelerators, and their innovation is defining the future of government technology. 🚀 Want to see more cutting-edge examples and hear how we're building the future of the public sector together? ▶️ Watch select Summit sessions on demand: https://goo.gle/485shxe

Big day! We’re introducing Gemini 3, our most intelligent model, that combines all of Gemini’s capabilities together so you can bring any idea to life. It’s state-of-the-art in reasoning, built to grasp depth and nuance, whether it’s perceiving the subtle clues in a creative idea, or peeling apart the overlapping layers of a difficult problem. Gemini 3 is also much better at figuring out the context and intent behind your request, so you get what you need with less prompting. It’s amazing to think that in just two years, AI has evolved from simply reading text and images to reading the room. We’re shipping Gemini at the scale of Google. That includes Gemini 3 in AI Mode in Search with more complex reasoning and new dynamic experiences (the first time we shipped Gemini in Search on day one). It's also rolling out in the Gemini app, to developers in AI Studio and and in our new agentic development platform, Google Antigravity, and to enterprises via Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise. We hope you like Gemini 3, we'll keep improving it, and look forward to seeing what you build with it. Huge thanks to all the teams who have worked so hard to make this possible, much more to come!

  • What an unforgettable day honoring our veterans last week at our Google Spruce Goose office! 🇺🇸 The event kicked off with the unforgettable energy of the USC Trojan Marching Band! The focus then shifted to a fireside chat hosted by our CEO, Karen Dahut, with General (Ret.) Dave Goldfein and Dr. Heather Wilson. They shared powerful lessons in #ServantLeadership from their book, Get Back Up. We were reminded that the mission-critical skills veterans gain—from resilience to mission-focus—are invaluable in the tech workforce. We are honored to be a trusted partner in supporting the next chapter for those who served. Thank you to our entire veteran community! 🤝

It was an honor to join General (Ret.) David Goldfein and Dr. Heather Wilson in Los Angeles, where I had the privilege of moderating a fireside chat at Google’s Veterans Day celebration. They recently joined us at our Google Public Sector Summit, and earlier this week, we were able to bring their powerful and resonant stories about leadership, resilience, and innovation to a new audience. David and Heather’s humility and deep commitment to service are a strong reminder that the values forged in the military continue to shape how we lead, support others, and build meaningful careers beyond the uniform. It was inspiring to celebrate with so many veterans and military spouses, many of whom are beginning a new chapter and transitioning into civilian careers, and bringing with them the resilience, purpose, and mission-first mindset that define military service. Thank you to all who joined us in person and online. Watch the full discussion: https://lnkd.in/eJZxyF_X

  • "The public sector is already leading on AI... Now we need to do it at scale." This was the key message from our Google Public Sector Summit, and we were thrilled to have top analyst Patrick Moorhead of Moor Insights & Strategy join us to see it in action. In his new Forbes article, Patrick shares his takeaways on how we're supporting U.S. government agencies in this "period of change." What stood out to him? 🤖 Practical, Powerful AI: He called Gemini for Government "one of the best examples of AI agents I’ve ever seen related to the public sector," noting he was able to create his own agent in about seven minutes. 🔒 Purpose-Built for Government: He highlighted our understanding of the sector's unique needs, from "leaning into on-prem solutions" to building for the "highest possible confidentiality requirements" in "air-gapped settings." 🚀 A New Mission Mindset: Patrick was "heartened about what's possible," reinforcing our CEO Karen Dahut's call for a "healthy disregard for the 'impossible.'" We're proud to be a partner in this new era of American Innovation. Read the full analysis in Forbes: https://goo.gle/3JvQN2s
