SteerAI put on our jackets to spend the last few days at Adopt AI - Grand Palais in Paris, held under the High Patronage of President Emmanuel Macron. It was a great backdrop for conversations about moving autonomy from pilot to deployment. Across the room, one thing was clear: the industry is ready to scale. The question we heard over and over was how? Here’s our take: • Focus on getting autonomous technology into real world missions and then gradually expand the complexity. • Find ways to introduce autonomous platforms cost-effectively, either through upgrading existing fleets or buying purpose-built autonomous platforms. • Ensure that moving to autonomy isn't only about the vehicles and platforms, but also ensuring that the systems and people are integrated and trained in new ways of working. This is what we’re focused on at SteerAI.
