For over 28 years, MCCA’s Annual Gala has brought together leaders from across the legal field to celebrate excellence and opportunity. Earlier this month, under the theme “Letting Excellence Shine,” that legacy continued at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, beneath the Temple of Dendur. We gathered to honor achievement, reconnect with colleagues and friends, and celebrate the excellence that defines our profession. This year’s Gala reflected our shared commitment and the enduring strength of the MCCA community – made possible by our sponsors, members, and dedicated Board and Advisory Board. We honored leaders and organizations that exemplify excellence in action. The evening featured award-winning MSNBC/NBC News anchor Richard Lui as emcee and music by the Charlie Sigler Trio, setting a tone of celebration and connection. A highlight of the night was the Charlotte E. Ray Award tribute to Yolanda Sanders (she/her), Former Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Gap Inc., whose reflections on leadership, mentorship, and legacy left the audience inspired. Thanks to the generosity of this community, we raised vital funds to support the next generation of legal excellence.
