  • On Veterans Day, Invenergy employees volunteered their time at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital’s Fisher House just outside of Chicago. A “home away from home”, Fisher Houses provide free lodging for families, caregivers, and loved ones of service members receiving care at Veterans Administration (VA) hospitals. Employees prepared lunch for the house occupants, cleaned common spaces and vacant guest suites, did general housekeeping and aided with yardwork. We are proud to employ those who served and continue to serve in the U.S. military and are proud to support veterans and military families in our communities across the country.
