  • It’s been five years since Raising Cane's became a Firstup customer, and their team proves that when you give your frontline teams the right tools to connect and communicate, engagement follows naturally. We are inspired to know that thousands of their employees log in every day to maintain two-way communication with leadership and stay informed with the organization. Congratulations to the entire Raising Cane's Crew on this milestone, and here’s to many more.

Communications Leader at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Today marks the 5th birthday of our internal communications app - a platform that has transformed how we connect, communicate and celebrate our unique culture across the Raising Cane’s family. First, a big thank you to the Crew for sharing their stories and for their engagement - they are the fuel. Over the past five years, the app has become an essential part of how we share leadership updates, highlight team successes and engage in two-way communication that strengthens our “One Love” culture. I'm also proud of its incredible adoption across the organization: • 87% of our hourly Crewmembers maintain active accounts • 100% adoption among Restaurant Leaders, Business Unit Teams and Restaurant Support Office Crew Every day, thousands of Crew from across the company log in to stay informed, share ideas, celebrate and offer feedback on everything from operations to new T-shirt designs. This level of engagement reflects our shared commitment to open communication and continuous improvement. As the team celebrates this milestone, it truly takes a village, I'm grateful for the way this platform continues to bring our values to life - connecting Crew around the world through communication, culture and collaboration. P.S. It's also fun to be able to open the app and jump right into what's happening in our Restaurants. The energy is contagious. If you're considering a mobile app to connect your business, this is my recommendation to pursue it.

  • "How do we measure this?" might be the most important question in internal communications right now. Without data, communication remains a "cost center." With the right metrics, it becomes a competitive advantage. Our guide explores:  → Which metrics actually matter to leadership  → How to connect communication efforts to business outcomes  → Building dashboards that tell the right story  → Moving from vanity metrics to value metrics Stop guessing. Start measuring. Download the guide: https://bit.ly/3X89Pz2

Exciting news! Last week, our team celebrated a successful customer launch with a partner committed to transforming how they reach and engage their workforce.   As a longtime Firstup customer on Dynamic Signal, Ryder System, Inc. had previously faced challenges familiar across many industries with a heavy frontline population: difficulty connecting with both wired and unwired employees through a single omnichannel approach, and high attrition in a frontline workforce where retention can hinge on mere cents per hour. Over the years, the team has leveraged Dynamic Signal to improve employee communications, increase engagement, and continue strengthening their corporate culture.   Ready to take employee engagement to the next level, the Ryder team embraced innovation and a more flexible, streamlined approach. With their platform upgrade to Firstup, they can now create and automate engaging communications once and seamlessly deliver them across multiple channels - empowering leaders to connect every employee to the company’s mission, values, and goals.   Their hard work over the past few months is sure to result in even stronger organizational alignment, higher reductions in turnover, and a more connected, engaged workforce. Congratulations to the whole Ryder team on an incredible partnership and launch - special thanks to Timothy Paulison, Cuky Pouparina, and Kelvin Ocasio for their leadership throughout the implementation, and continued partnership on this exciting journey! 🚀 #EmployeeExperience #InternalCommunications #FrontlineEngagement #Firstup
