The CDR market is maturing. And quality is a key factor. When Climeworks released their quality framework for evaluating carbon removal projects, it highlighted the clear momentum in a market that's investing in rigorous assessment beyond basic certification. This trend toward deeper quality evaluation is needed. But what makes assessment truly effective? And how can participants navigate this evolving landscape? What matters is building assessment infrastructure that is: ✅ Detailed enough to capture operational realities ✅ Pathway-specific enough to reflect unique risks ✅ Independent enough to provide unbiased signals ✅ Transparent enough to withstand scrutiny Our blog explores why quality assessment is supporting CDR market growth - and what market participants should look for. Understanding carbon credit pricing isn't easy, but it's essential for anyone buying, selling, or investing in carbon markets. In this clip from our recent demo, Aaron Tam breaks down the 3 types of pricing data every market participant needs: 💵 Spot prices – Reference points for immediate delivery and confident trading decisions 💵 Off-take prices – Forward market intelligence for securing future supply 💵 Market Forecasts – Strategic scenario modeling to answer the "what-if" questions historical data can't address Each serves a distinct purpose. You can check this recap for the full breakdown of the pricing intelligence, now available on the Sylvera platform: https://lnkd.in/gTP5Qm5d

COP30 wrap 🧣 Despite not being part of the official COP agenda, Article 6 has been (and still is) a big focus. Ben - now back in London - explains how: 📜 Article 6.4: The Supervisory Body's first annual report to the CMA was supposed to be procedural. Instead, it became hotly contested negotiated text. 📜 Article 6.2: Two 3-hour ambition dialogues spilled over into another set of decision text negotiations (the bigger surprise of the two). Both draft texts are nearly finalized, with sign-off expected over the next couple of days. 🤔 Want the full analysis? Join our Decoding COP30 webinar next Wednesday, where Ben will be joined by: 🎙️ Molly Peters-Stanley, Sylvera 🎙️ Simon Fellermeyer, Federal Office for the Environment FOEN 🇨🇭 🎙️ Andrea Bonzanni, IETA 🎙️ Janaina Dallan, Carbonext 🎙️ Filipe Blackwood Oliveira, Rubicon Carbon We'll break down the final decisions, what they really mean, and what comes next for Article 6.
