Flexibility just got real. We're already delivering flexibility at massive scale, saving both customers and utilities money - from Electric Vehicles (EVs) to smart thermostats, globally. Kraken Flexibility isn't just theory; we're unlocking this potential right now: - We're enabling the UK’s first nationwide vehicle-to-grid (V2G) programme. This programme is saving EV owners up to £620 compared to standard energy tariffs. - We’ve expanded our asset capabilities to include smart thermostat optimization. And, we’re supporting a pilot with Southern California Edison to collectively optimize multiple device types, including EVs, batteries, and smart thermostats. - We're allowing sub-meter billing by the device. The Kraken Effect: The Octopus Energy Spain Growth Story We were so excited at #EnlitEurope, to have Núria Such Cueves, Global Director of Kraken Experience, joined by Paco Albert Guzmán, CFO at Octopus Energy Spain, to showcase how Kraken is powering one of Europe’s most inspiring energy growth stories. Together, they explored how Octopus Energy Spain uses the Kraken platform to empower their people, scale faster, and deliver smarter, more sustainable experiences for customers. This Spanish utility has achieved what many dream of — explosive growth without compromising on their exceptional customer service or their deep care for people and planet. Because when technology meets true partnership and a shared belief that energy can (and should) work better for everyone — that’s the Kraken Effect.

💚 Day 2 at Enlit Europe – done and dusted. From flexibility to AI, B2B to EVs, yesteday was all about showing how Kraken is powering change across every corner of the energy system. Lee Marshall and Greg Slako kicked off the day with their session Kraken: An Operating System for B2B – revealing how we’re transforming the way businesses buy, manage and innovate in energy. On the Inspire Stage, Devrim Celal challenged the room with Grid Edge: Is It Delivering on its Promise?, sparking debate on how to make decentralisation truly deliver for customers. Charlotte Johnson spoke about the Iberian Renewables Focus, spotlighting how we’re enabling flexibility and growth across the region’s renewable markets. In the AI Hub, Mark Prestney-Archer took on the big question – AI: From Hype to Commercial Value – showing how Kraken is turning innovation into real-world results. But that's not all! Núria Such Cueves and Paco Albert Guzmán took over the stage to talk about The Kraken Impact: The Octopus Energy Growth Story. And to close the day, Lara Beers and Antonio Colino from Plenitude explored Iberia’s Energy Shift – unpacking how innovation and policy are shaping the region’s clean-energy transition.
