🤝 Patient engagement is everywhere. Authentic partnership? That's harder to find.    Across Canada, people with lived experience are leading transformative work in integrated care. They're building national networks, shaping research partnerships, and creating the infrastructure needed for genuine co-leadership. Healthcare systems increasingly recognize the importance of this work, and many are doing more patient engagement than ever before.    What's needed now is the shift from involvement to authentic partnership, where power is genuinely shared. This means moving beyond consultation to co-leadership, where people with lived experience don't just inform decisions but shape them.
