To promote HSE legal compliance on our construction site, adherence to the OSHA 2007 Act is essential to meet the required legal standards. This should be complemented by other relevant legislation such as the Public Health Act Cap 242, the Work Injury Benefits Act (WIBA), the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA) 1999, the Medical Examination Rules, the First Aid Rules 1977, the Fire Risk Reduction Rules, the Noise Prevention and Control Rules, among others. Below are key items to consider for enhancing compliance on our sites: 1. Registration of Sites as Workplaces: Sites must be registered as workplaces through the Doshmis online platform to expedite the process. Review and Approval of Project Plans: Ensure that project plans are reviewed and approved in accordance with statutory requirements. 3. Statutory Risk Assessment Submission: Conduct and submit statutory risk assessments as required by law. 4. Payment and receipt of the Abstract and General Register: Complete the payment for the abstract and general register as part of legal compliance and ensure you have the documents on site with relevant information. 5.
