To make that happen, I’m getting a few small things done tonight. That’s not imbalance, that’s integration. I don’t believe in work/life balance. I believe in work/life integration. And I make that clear with my team. Just because I work on a Sunday doesn’t mean they should. Everyone’s life looks different. If someone needs to leave for an hour to pick up their kids, go for it, just get the work done. How they manage that is up to them. Leadership isn’t about forcing your rhythm on others.
