It was my most talented team member, who made me realise something extremely important. After weeks of me managing every detail, she walked into my office and said something I'll never forget: "I don't need you to do my job. I need you to help me become better at it." Those words hit me like a freight train. I realized leadership isn't about being the smartest person in the room. It's about making everyone else in the room smarter.
