Here’s one more AI tool to level up your presentation game: https://www.beautiful.ai/ Over time, I’ve crafted a simple workflow using GenAI to make presentations not only easier but more impactful. Here’s my process: Step 1: Brainstorming with Copilot or ChatGPT. I start with this prompt: “I want to create a presentation for [audience] on [topic]. The goal is to [objective]. Ask me 10 related questions to help you build a strong storyline. Organize it in a table with page numbers, titles, content suggestions, and visuals.” This gives me a solid structure to work from. Step 2: Personalize the content. I review the AI-generated outline and rewrite it in my own style, adding personal insights and refining the flow. Step 3: Design with AI tools. Once the content is set, I use tools like Copilot in PowerPoint, Gamma, Tome, or Beautiful.ai to bring the slides to life with clean, engaging visuals. The combination of GenAI for both content and design makes the whole process faster, more creative, and fun. Have you tried using AI for your presentations yet?

I'll say it: there exists today no perfect AI solution for marketing automation. 👨💼 Maybe you're all-in with your Amazon, Microsoft/OpenAI, or Google service suite and you're standing by as cool new tools to roll out. Here, your organization's humans need to stay firmly in the loop because hallucinations are still commonplace, and data leaks are a looming potentiality. 🕵♀️ Or, you're (smartly) working with various partners to improve key use cases, and thereby educating your team / creating a vehicle for employee training on prompting and best practices. Here, you're patching things together with multiple tools since there is no comprehensive option that ties data, business insights, content-creation, creative and brand together. This past week I tried out a bunch of AI-powered presentation tools. Since marketers rarely start a presentation from scratch, and presentations are generally shared between multiple collaborators, I rated them against 1) Customizability and 2) Iterability. Beautiful.ai, Gamma, Pitch, Tome and Typeset: please reach out or comment in the thread with other features we should know about. WINNER: Beautiful.ai I use it, and love it. It saves me lots of time and headache. However, I'm an independent contractor, so I'm not beholden to structured brand guidelines. PROS: Offers a wide range of customizable slide templates to jumpstart your presentations. Applies real-time design rules, saving you time on formatting and resizing. Allows for easy collaboration with its Team Plan, enabling remote teamwork and consistent branding. CONS: Limited integrations with other tools, which may hinder workflow efficiency. It can import a preexisting format from PPT (only), but it only really reads colors and fonts. It sticks faithfully to design principles, so if you want to go rogue and create something, it can get frustrating. RUNNER UP: Gamma A close second in my book, Gamma can create multiple assets in addition to presentations. It can apply design principles across multiple assets. PROS: Provides a user-friendly interface, making it accessible to users with varying levels of technical expertise. Offers advanced data visualization capabilities, perfect for marketing teams dealing with complex data sets. Allows for seamless integration with popular tools like Slack, Dropbox, Google and PPT. CONS: Limited template options compared to other tools, which may limit creative flexibility. Pitch: Wins the collaboration award, though the templates were less visually stunning. Tome: Wins the beauty contest. Drop-dead gorgeous typefaces and templates, but less customizability and more difficult to collaborate on the platform. Typeset: Wins the story award. Tome takes a different, narrative-driven approach to writing presentations that may be a good fit for some company cultures. There are fewer templates to work from, leading to limited design.
