With my daily interaction with professionals, I have realized the need to get individuals into one room or platform to learn, network, share experiences, and set goals for which they can hold themselves accountable. I would like to walk with 20 professionals eager to build a road map for their careers in a group setting. The setup is virtual, and the tone of learning will be conversational. ✅Let’s talk about why you are stagnant in your career. ✅Let's discuss why your hands are tied to leaving that toxic work environment. ✅Let me hear why you are struggling to network and allow me to train you to network better. ✅Let me hear precisely why you have been on the same salary for the past five years because that should not be the case. ✅Let's chat about what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong in your job search process and how you can change that. Find details below on how to invest in the September career planning workshop. For ease of coaching and learning, the class will accommodate a maximum of 20 professionals.

What’s my WHY? I saw a former shipmate at a homeless outreach—not volunteering, but in need. That moment drives me daily to share vital transition resources and veteran benefits that change lives.

Whats the best thing you can do to get your best step forward during transition. After being the TAP world for 7+ years, here’s my advice. Take your Initial Counseling SERIOUS!!! Your initial counseling will be the FOUNDATION for everthing else! What happens during Initial Counseling? 1️⃣ You will EVALUATE your personal goals, career interests, and readiness for civilian life 2️⃣ From there - you will create YOUR Individual Transition Plan (ITP) that should be tailored to YOUR ✅ Education goals ✅ Employment plans ✅ VA benefits ✅ Entrepreneurship or self-employment interests * If needed (I recommend everyone do at least one) - your 2 Day TAP track (Employment, Education, Vocational, or Entrepreneurship) The person performing it should - (but not limited to) ✅ Review your assessment ✅ Discuss transition goals ✅ Identify any RISK factors (like housing, finances, job readiness) What the goal of the IC? It is to assign you to a TAP Pathway (Tier 1, 2, or 3) based on how prepared you are: Tier 1️⃣ – Fully prepared Tier 2️⃣ – Moderately prepared Tier 3️⃣ – Not yet prepared (requires more support) From there, you will be scheduled for the TAP Core Curriculum workshops and optional tracks if needed (desired). How can you show up PREPARED? 1️⃣ Know your planned separation or retirement date 2️⃣ Bring a rough idea of your career goals or interests 3️⃣ Ask about: ✅ VA benefits (GI Bill, disability, healthcare) ✅ Credentialing assistance or #dodskillbridge ✅ Education or apprenticeship programs And….be ready to discuss: 🎯 Career or education goals (even if you're unsure) 🧾 Whether you’ll use the GI Bill, SkillBridge, or Credentialing Assistance 🏠 Housing plans after separation 💰 Financial planning or concerns 🧑🎓 Interest in college, trade school, or entrepreneurship You better call Tyrone
