1. Tell us about yourself:
As a computer science graduate, I have always been very fond of new technologies. During my Internship with NEC, I gained a deeper understanding of frontend biometrics, IoT, cyber security, and related technology. In my leisure time, I like to play chess and watch Sci-fi movies.
2. How did you get to know about NEC?
I was curious to learn more about the Aadhaar Biometric program and through my research on LinkedIn, I discovered that NEC was the working brain behind it. It was great to know the contributions NEC is making to empower people through technologies in smart transportation solutions, aviation, 5G, submarine cable, and many more!
3. What inspired you to join NEC?
I am quite fortunate to join NEC because it is an organization that works on cutting-edge technology to empower lives while impacting businesses across several industries including the public sector.
4. How was your interview experience?
The interview was an enriching experience since the panel was interested in learning more about me and my hobbies in addition to asking tech-related questions. This shows how much the company values individuality as well as creative knowledge.
5. How was your first day as NECians?
My first day at work was exciting; I was given a workplace tour and introduced to my colleagues and mentors. Everyone was really friendly and supportive.
6. How has NEC helped in shaping you as a professional?
Working at NEC provides me with hands-on experience in emerging technologies like IoT and front-end development. I am learning about business logic and how technology can create real-world impact. My colleagues help bring out the best in me by encouraging, guiding, and empowering me to think outside of the box.
7. What do you like the most at NEC?
The best thing about NEC is that I can explore new things and adopt novel ways to solve complex problems while still having senior leaders mentoring me throughout.
8. What's your take on the 'Work-Life Balance' at NEC?
The freedom to balance personal and professional life with greater ease is one of the nicest things about working at NEC. I can easily maintain harmony between different aspects of my life because of the flexibility and hybrid nature of the work.
9. What are the greatest takeaways from your journey at NEC?
My biggest learning at NEC is that great outcomes are a result of great teamwork, a strong knowledge base, and empowering people to come up with innovative solutions.
