Red Dot recognizes Google Meet Series One Desk 27 and Board 65 for design excellence

Latest Series One products developed in collaboration with Avocor and Aruliden for artful product design, excellent user experience, and flexibility for hybrid work

We are especially excited and proud to announce that the Google Meet Series One video conferencing hardware family has produced two additional winners of the prestigious Red Dot award for design innovation: 

• Google Meet Series One Desk 27 by Avocor received the Red Dot Design Award 2022
• Google Meet Series One Board 65 by Avocor received the top distinction Red Dot Best of the Best 2022 award

These are the second and the third Red Dot awards for the Series One family. Last year, the Series One Room Kit earned Google Meet its first Red Dot award with the Best of the Best for 2021.

Desk 27 — designed for form and function — combines immersive, high-definition video and audio with rounded edges and a sculpted silhouette. Desk 27 is ideal for personal and small spaces either from the home office or the “office office.” This makes it a great hybrid work solution that brings people together seamlessly with Google Meet no matter where they choose to work. 

Board 65 shares the same form and function excellence as Desk 27, but is built with the conference room and team collaboration in mind. It hangs beautifully on your meeting room walls, but an optional stand lets you roll the Board 65 anywhere you want, so you can build a conferencing space in just minutes. Plus, recessed ports with inputs and outputs give you the option to connect peripherals, laptops, headsets, and other accessories for the visually and hearing impaired.

Board 65 and Desk 27 share some great features. Beyond great video conferencing capabilities, whiteboarding on these devices through the Jamboard app is as smooth as writing on glass. Google AI makes using the Desk 27 and Board 65 effortless: 

• Google TrueVoice adds noise detection and speech recognition are enabled with Google’s TrueVoice technology
