Nominations open for the annual Xero UK App Awards
I’m delighted to announce that nominations are now open for our annual Xero UK App Awards. It’s been a year like no other, so we’re excited to celebrate all the hard work and innovation from our 800+ strong app community.
Apps have been a lifeline for many small businesses during this pandemic. In fact, our global platform data shows that small businesses who used apps to manage their business before the crisis, saw 12 per cent smaller revenue declines than other small businesses.
SMEs with five or more apps connected to their Xero account had revenue falls that were one-third smaller, and job losses that were 40 per cent smaller than other SMEs during the crisis.
These stats show just how crucial technology is to the survival and recovery of our economy and why it’s more important than ever to recognise the hard work happening across the industry.
Nominations are open until the 31st October, so make sure you don’t miss out! The finalists in each category will be announced on 26 November, with the winners announced in March 2021. You can nominate your organisation in a number of app award categories:
- App Partner of the Year
- Emerging App Partner of the Year
- Industry-Specific App of the Year
- Practice App of the Year
The finalists will be selected by a combination of leaders at Xero and industry experts.
This will be the first year we host the Xero Awards online. Although we can’t be together in person, we’re going all out to create the same Xero Award ceremony experience you know and love virtually, so that you can enjoy it from the comfort and safety of your own home.
