It was great to see so many colleagues from across the sector in Liverpool this month for the Local Government Association Conference. Of course, the topic on everyone's mind was Local Government Reorganisation. From the conversations we had, it's clear that councils will need tailored support across a wide range of services that will be affected by LGR. If that's you, please get in touch. With that in mind, we're pleased to be launching a toolkit on navigating your waste services through LGR at a webinar on 9 September. This resource is designed to support service managers and local authority teams through aligning services, contracts and infrastructure to maintaining service standards and managing staff through change. Also this month, we launched our 24-25 Impact Report! As we reflect on the successes of the last year, we are filled with optimism for the future. Local Partnerships remains dedicated to our mission, and we look forward to continuing our work with public sector partners to drive positive change and deliver lasting impact. At this year’s LGA Conference, Angela Rayner launched the new Council Housebuilding Skills & Capacity Programme. Local Partnerships will play a key role in supporting councils to build the skills and networks needed to drive forward the next era of council housebuilding.
