I am a superhost on Turo and they have denied EVERY claim I made on Turo from guests damaging my vehicles. I have proof of my guests admitting they did damage to my vehicle on TWO separate occasions and they never take accountability. 25% of every booking goes to them for this kind of insurance. I will be taking all of my vehicles off this platform and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Yeah, you made the survey just before to change your policy with the return to office … great 😐

Turo has officially crossed the line. I’m beyond frustrated with the way this platform continues to treat serious, committed hosts like me. I’m tired of being ignored, disrespected, and left hanging for basic things like relisting a vehicle. Making me wait 48 hours to relist a car that’s ready and fully compliant is absolutely unacceptable. This delay costs me money, guests, and credibility — and the worst part? You clearly don’t care. There’s no urgency, no support, no consideration for the people keeping your business running. You market Turo as a partnership with hosts, but in reality, we’re treated like we’re disposable. While my car is sitting inactive, I’m losing income — and Turo is still profiting. How is that fair? If your goal is to push away the serious hosts who helped build this platform, you’re doing a great job. But let me be clear: I will not stay silent. I demand an IMMEDIATE solution. What you’re doing is negligence, plain and simple, and I’m prepared to escalate this if necessary.

Best Place to work maybe but not the best place to work with, when you have a trouble with airbnb they take care of the trouble right away but TURO OMG, they try their very best in order to avoid paying anything. One of my guest damage my car on 2 sides they tried so hard for 20 days to avoid the damage I had to make a full file in order to show them the damage and after all of this they give me another reason in order to avoid paying. Of course I unlisted my car right away but please do yourslef a favor and don't list anything on this SCAM app

Dont use Turo, hidden cancelation fees and just horrible service use Getaround no hidden fees and much more reliable, your welcome 👍

I chose Turo to save a few buck and time rather than going to the desk car rentals. The first car I booked near the Boston airport had transmission issues 10 minutes from lot and almost got me killed in a 1+mile tunnel. Going 15mph while people were zipping around me at 70mph with no shoulder to pull over. The transmission finally gained enough traction to get up to about 40. Almost hit someone behind me when it rolled backwards at a stop light, gas pedal to the floor. I was lucky to have made it back to a paid lot near the Turo lot that was full. Lastest reviewer mentioned the same issue so I assumed it was fixed but it wasn't and was a known issue. Reviewer Marc also mentioned that the host didn't care. Unsafe to drive and the host told me the little wrench symbol on the dash is normal for all Nissans. He didn't even care. Also had to fight Turo for a full refund and was finally promised one but notice they don't like refunding according to some other reviews. Also didn't care about my situation. While I was on the phone with customer service, I watched the host retrieve the car and repark it in the Turo lot. Car reported to BPD and DOT incase the car got into an accident by the next renter. They gave me partial credit to rebook another car and promised the rest will go back to my card at some point. All calls were recorded and many photos. Oh but that's not all. Booked a second vehicle for more money with a different host. He was going to have it delivered but then informed me via phone call that the last renter was late with a flat tire. Canceled the trip and gave me a link to another car and host. Then I had to wait an extra hour for the 3rd car to unlock. 8 HOURS LATE TO MY DESTINATION! If you need to rent a car to go to your parents funeral, don't go with Turo otherwise you may join them. Once my trip is over, I will be watching my bank closely to make sure they refund me. I will raise hell if they screw me over.

HOSTS & CAR OWNERS – BE WARNED ABOUT TURO 🚨 In March this year, my £35,000 car was stolen during a Turo booking. I followed every step of the process, submitted the police report, and complied with all requests — yet Turo has still not compensated me. After 140+ days of silence, Turo is now trying to escape liability by claiming their UK company (TuroUK Ltd) isn’t responsible — even though I used their UK site, was paid in the UK, and had UK-based support. To make matters worse: • They’re now questioning my integrity, requesting personal phone records and digging up irrelevant history to delay the process. • Their own documents say claims should be processed after 30 days — I’m still waiting 4+ months later. • Turo calls it a “host protection plan”, but it’s not insurance — it’s an excuse to avoid paying out. I’ve hosted dozens of trips, earned 5-star reviews, and trusted this platform. But when it mattered most, Turo left me out of pocket and unsupported. I’m now taking legal action — but I’m also sharing this publicly to warn other hosts: If your car gets stolen on Turo, you might end up with NOTHING.

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out as a Turo host who’s been facing a serious issue with the platform. Unfortunately, my listing was removed following an inspection dispute, and the support team has not contacted me directly to clarify the situation — instead, they relied solely on the mechanic’s input without asking for my side or reviewing the temporary license plate I had provided. I’ve tried resolving this through the regular support channels but haven’t received the attention this case deserves. I believe this is unfair and may escalate the matter legally if not resolved soon. If you’re not the right person for this, I’d be very grateful if you could kindly direct me to someone who can assist.
