Today at Town Hall, we proudly recognized Lydia Muriel Adams, a Caledon East resident who was recently appointed as Member to the Order of Canada! Originally from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Lydia has left an incredible mark on the world of choral music as a celebrated composer, arranger and pianist. For decades, she has been the long-standing conductor and artistic director of the Elmer Iseler Singers. She champions diverse voices and promotes both established and contemporary Canadian compositions. Thank you, Lydia, for fostering such a vibrant and inclusive musical community!
