I’ve been on the interviewer side as a software engineer a few times, and honestly it’s wild how much it comes down to vibes. You don’t need to know everything. You just need to sound like someone who could figure it out. If you get stuck, talk through your logic. Let us peek into how you think. Because after every round, the conversation is basically: “So what do you think?” “Yeah, they’re pretty good.” That’s the bar. Make it easy for them to say that. #Interview #Interviewer #InterviewTips #SoftwareEngineering

My #1 red flag in hiring I always ask one simple question: 👉 “What do you know about our company?” Sounds simple - but it reveals everything. If the answer is “ just checked your site” - interview’s over. Because if you don’t care enough to spend 5 minutes learning about where you want to work, you won’t care enough once you’re there. But when someone comes prepared - knows the product, brings ideas - that’s a green flag. Curiosity can’t be faked.

A good interview isn’t a quiz. It is a window into how someone thinks! Cindy Songné, Head of Agency Partnerships at Joveo, suggests keeping the format simple. Create room for people to talk, notice what lights them up, and pay attention to the rhythm of the conversation! You learn more from that than any polished answer. We couldn’t agree more! 😄 #TalentAcquisition #HiringAdvice #RecruitmentTips #InterviewStrategy #PeopleFirstHiring #RecruiterInsights #HRLeadership

The 2-step interview loop that outperforms 3-round marathons. We tested it across dozens of tech hiring programs, and the results were consistent: Shorter cycles 🕒 Higher acceptance 📈 Sharper evidence per candidate 🎯 Instead of running endless interviews, run better ones: ✅ Step 1 — Technical deep dive (hands-on, real work context) ✅ Step 2 — Scenario panel (decision-making + collaboration) When both are scored on a shared rubric, speed and quality stop being trade-offs. 👉 Save this post for your next hiring sprint. #SysMind #HiringPlaybook #TalentAcquisition #RecruitmentStrategy #InterviewTips #HiringFramework

Every recruiting coordinator has hit “send” and immediately wished they hadn’t. It happens. But as a recruiting coordinator at Discord said in our recent chat, it’s okay. We’re all human. The more we reinforce that, the more candidates see it too. And they remember how it felt to be treated like a person, not a process. And it’s exactly why we build what we build. Here’s that moment from the interview.

You vs your to-do list... until top of the funnel comes knocking. For founders and small teams, hiring isn’t just a quick checkbox. It’s juggling screens, interviews, emails, and - oh right, your actual job! Don’t let the pipeline run your day. Recruiting from Scratch helps early teams hire smarter, not harder.

Anyone can blast out promotions and hope for the best. But the brands that thrive? They find ways to start real conversations. Try asking your prospects about their biggest challenges and actually listen to their responses. Use polls, open-ended questions, or interviews. You’ll discover insights you can turn into useful resources—and, honestly, your next breakout campaign. It’s a lot easier to generate demand when you’re actually talking to people, not at them
