This week we were honored to hear the incredible stories of veterans and celebrate the heroes at PruittPlace – Kennesaw for their sacrifice to our nation.
Again, from the entire PruittHealth family, we would like to share our deepest gratitude to all veterans. Thank you for your service.
#VeteransDay#PruittPlace
So the ceremony that we're doing today is just a special time that we can give thanks back to all of our veterans. My name is Jennifer Udy, I'm the assisted living administrator here at Pruitt Place, Kennesaw. This ceremony today will include our local Junior ROTC group coming to do a flag ceremony for the residents as well as a pinning ceremony for all of our veterans here at the community. The certificates awarded to Mr. Robert Wagner. We salute you for your bravery and service and dedication and honor to your country. We're grateful for your tireless efforts and safeguarding our beloved country. Thank you, Pruitt Place Kennesaw. I raised my right hand, was sworn in on my 21st birthday. I was drafted during the Vietnam era, I feel like. It was my duty to serve. Well, I joined in the Air Force. My name is Kenneth Eugene Ramian. I did a lot of pilot training, combat training. We saved lives. I appreciate these days like this. And I try to tell people, finally they're starting to do more to realize what we went through, that nobody would understand it. Lost a lot of pilots over in Vietnam. And I'm still alive. And I'm still alive. Hey, let's give a round of applause to all the veterans that are here. I think it's just a simple thank you. Those two words summarize our feelings for all of that they've done.
Wow. Very powerful.
