We must be kind and patient with dead technology. For many years it served us loyally, providing us with a way to put adhesive vinyl and film in outdoor environments, including onto low-energy surfaces and in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. But poor dead technology must move on to the next world where it can play Diablo II on Windows 98 and listen to Kid A over and over. Goodbye, solvent adhesive, we loved you. Nekoosa NextBond® is a comprehensive upgrade for solvent based adhesives. It does everything that solvent can do--but cleaner, better, easier, and cheaper. For the whole story, check out the full video with Nekoosa chemist, Bryan Baab to hear a comprehensive explanation of the technology. https://lnkd.in/e9SVxVhY NextBond® is an innovative UV-cured adhesive technology developed by Nekoosa Coated Products. It is a durable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional solvent-based adhesives, primarily for long-term outdoor print applications like signage, decals, displays, and graphics. It's designed for wide-format printing and is already integrated into various Nekoosa product lines, including vinyls, overlaminates, and mounting films. It's remarkable and it will change the media industry. Powderless DTF is moving from pilot trials to real production. The concept is straightforward: replace hot-melt powder with a printable adhesive to achieve a softer hand, finer detail, and cleaner workflows. Across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, many OEMs and integrators are testing powderless alongside conventional setups, but success hinges on process, not hype. Key questions: wash fastness depends on adhesive penetration and a precise thermal profile; the oven matters more than ever (tight control and stable film temperature beat guesswork). In DTF, technique > chemistry—channel order, laydown, RIP limits, and press time/pressure can make or break results. Costs aren’t automatic wins: adhesive consumption varies with coverage and passes, while stricter curing can raise energy and maintenance. Also verify printer readiness (head layout, waveform/rheology compatibility, RIP control) and film selection (surface additives may contaminate the interface). The upside is compelling: reliable foil/laminate application, the possibility of sublimated metallics on polyester by printing adhesive directly onto foil with tuned sublimation inks, and a hand often comparable to good DTG. I summarized what to measure—and how to decide—here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eCcwUXsw #PowderlessDTF #DTF #PrintableAdhesive #DigitalTextilePrinting #TextilePrinting #WashFastness #ProcessControl #RIP #Printheads #Sublimation #Foil #Innovation #Manufacturing #DTG #IndustrialPrinting

1.Loosen the embedded screw on the engraving head using an M4 hex wrench. 2.Gently remove the slide shoe system along the axial direction, avoiding impact on the diamond component. 3.Insert the linear slide shoe system into the engraving head, ensuring the sealing ring at the rear is fully seated into the bore. 4.Tighten the embedded screw on the engraving head using the M4 hex wrench to secure the slide shoe system firmly. 5.Place the engraving head on the stylus holder and adjust the position between the diamond end face of the linear slide shoe and the engraving stylus tip. 6.Mount the engraving head onto the electro-engraving machine, then rotate the control knob or micrometer head to fine-tune the slide shoe using blue oil, maximizing the contact area between the shoe tip and the printing roller. #EngravingHeadInstallation #DiamondEngravingTechnology #PrecisionAssembly #LinearSlideShoeSystem #ElectroEngravingMachine #FineTuningTechnique #PrecisionAlignment #MechanicalCalibration #MachineSetupGuide #DiamondStylusAdjustment #PrintingRollerContact #HighPrecisionEngineering #MaintenanceProcedure #IndustrialEngravingTools #MachineryOptimization
