AI is what we are all expected to master these days. This is because we need to use it no matter in our work or lives. For me, I would think that the most important skill for AI today would be the ability to write prompts. This is because without the right prompts, we wouldn't be able to get the results that we want. We also need to be able to experiment with all features in the AI tools. This is so that we would be able to use all if the features to the fullest. We need to know how use AI properly. This is so that we would be able to get the best results from it.

Honestly, I agree with this so much. AI is removing a lot of the heavy lifting in data analysis, but the real skill now is how we ask questions, extract insights, and combine information in a meaningful way. Anyone can generate data — the real edge is in interpreting it, connecting the dots, and turning it into smart decisions. That’s where human judgment still makes all the difference.

What to Do When AI Can Do What You Do AI can do tasks, not judgment. When AI starts doing your job, your job becomes: Decide what actually matters. Curate outputs. Strategize the “why” behind the work. Your move: Shift from execution → direction. Start selling outcomes, not deliverables. Become the person who tells AI what to do and why — that’s where the money lives. AI makes order-takers irrelevant. AI makes leaders expensive.

We use AI to streamline workflows, reduce noise, and make smarter decisions faster. It keeps our processes efficient and our team focused.

The most valuable AI skill today is knowing how to ask the right questions and interpret the insights AI provides. Tools are becoming smarter, but decision-making still depends on human judgment. I use AI to streamline research, summarise information, and convert data into actionable steps — it’s a real productivity boost.

AI isn’t the hard part. Knowing what to ask and how to judge the answer is where people fall apart. The real skill is being curious enough to dig past the first output, LinkedIn News Asia.
