Achievement Network (ANet) led the development of datasets for the Knowledge Graph, which connect curriculum, assessments, and instructional materials, enabling teachers to better support each student’s needs. “We are really proud to be partnering with Learning Commons on building the next generation of developer tools. We need to ensure that the edtech products we're putting into classrooms and in front of our young people are not just technically impressive, but also instructionally sound. We know that there are years of research and best practices we've seen from teachers and practitioners across the country that should inform how we think about the tools they need to bring their best selves to work every day."-Osarugue “Michelle” Odemwingie, Chief Executive Officer, ANet

I’ve been developing an idea on adaptive training designed to support students with different learning abilities. Using NotebookLM, I created a short video presenting a comprehensive framework for AI-powered adaptive learning—aimed at helping every student succeed. This approach works like a GPS navigator for learning: • Step 1: Diagnose each student’s current position and identify learning roadblocks. • Step 2: Instantly personalize the most effective learning route and resources for each student. • Step 3: Deliver real-time guidance and practice, so students become empowered to “drive” their own learning journeys. • Step 4: Continuously monitor progress, make adjustments, and help students stay on track toward mastery. By integrating this adaptive framework, educators can better respond to each learner’s needs and create more engaging, equitable, and successful learning experiences in the classroom.

The struggle is real for teachers facing EdTech fatigue. It's crucial for every district to establish an EdTech Ecosystem that supports educators and students, rather than overwhelming them. Check out this insightful read on the topic. #EduTech #SupportTeachers https://lnkd.in/e6yWeZ9S

Ready to transform your classroom or training sessions? Ditch the lectures and embrace the power of Project-Based Learning! Why do so many students and employees check out during a lecture? Because passive learning is a one-way street. Project-Based Learning (PBL) flips the script. It's a dynamic approach where learners dive deep into real-world problems and challenges, developing knowledge and skills through extended, collaborative projects. Here's why PBL is a game-changer: Boosts 21st-Century Skills: PBL is the ultimate incubator for critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Increases Engagement: When learners have agency and a real-world purpose, they are more motivated and invested in their work. Deepens Understanding: Instead of memorizing facts, learners apply concepts to solve problems, leading to a deeper, more lasting comprehension. Encourages Reflection: Projects include built-in opportunities for learners to reflect on their process, successes, and challenges. How to get started with PBL: Start with a Driving Question: Frame a real-world problem or challenge that is open-ended and sparks curiosity (e.g., "How can we reduce plastic waste in our community?"). Define a Clear End Product: What will the learners create? (e.g., a community recycling program proposal, a public service announcement video). Provide Scaffolding: Break the project into manageable phases with milestones and check-ins. Facilitate, Don't Dictate: Your role shifts from being a "sage on the stage" to a "guide on the side." What's a project you've seen or designed that truly inspired learners? Share your examples and experiences below! 👇 #InstructionalDesign #Education #LearningAndDevelopment #ProjectBasedLearning #EdTech #TeachingStrategies #CorporateTraining #InnovationInEducation

1. Share ONE teaching approach to EdTech that you found the most valuable. One approach to EdTech that I found most valuable is seeing technology as a tool for teaching rather than a replacement to teachers. I believe that when technology is used correctly and with a purpose, it further encourages children to participate and learn. I plan to integrate technology in an intentional way. 2. Conduct Your Own Research: Look up digital learning strategies for a "Hybrid" classroom. Share 1 strategy you found that you believe would be good for other future teachers to use. After doing some research, I found that hybrid strategy is dual-mode lesson design, that brings asynchronous and synchronous teaching together. For example, students might watch a short pre-recorded lesson and then join a live session to talk about what they learned together. This strategy supports flexibility and makes sure that meaningful engagement is there for both in-person and online learners(EdTech Magazine, 2021). #EDLT3110_FA25_M71_R3

As K-12 educators, we are constantly navigating a crowded edtech landscape. The temptation is to adopt every new tool that promises innovation. However, true innovation comes from a thoughtful approach. The most successful edtech integrations are those that directly support a lesson's learning objectives, not simply substitute a paper-based activity with a digital one. This is the core principle of models like SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Actionable Tip: Before selecting a tool, identify the specific learning goal. Are you looking for a tool for collaboration, content delivery, or assessment? Choose the tool that best meets that need, and don't be afraid to leave a tool behind if it's not delivering on its promise. In fact, a 2019 report noted that about two-thirds of district administrators have stopped using an edtech tool because it did not improve student learning outcomes. Let's learn from that data and be more intentional in our choices. #EdTech #ActiveLearning #ResponsibleTechnologyUse
