📈 The Bluetooth IoT chipset market is forecast to grow from $8.9 billion in 2025 to $14.2 billion in 2030: https://lnkd.in/eQq3cMvj Our latest analysis identified 3 key drivers for this market growth: 1️⃣ Continued BLE integration: BLE-integrated SoCs and MCUs reduce costs and power consumption in sensors, locks, meters, remotes, toys, and medical patches. 2️⃣ Hospitals, warehouses, and factories adopting BLE RTLS: Channel Sounding, a Bluetooth feature that enables secure, fine-level distance measurement between devices, delivers 1–2 m distance awareness for access control and indoor location tracking. This is particularly useful in hospitals, warehouses, and factories to track patients, equipment, pallets, and tools. 3️⃣ Large-scale Bluetooth IoT projects rolling out in retail: BLE Periodic Advertising with Response (PAwR), introduced with Bluetooth 5.4 in early 2023, enables large star networks and reliable two-way updates, ideal for electronic shelf labels (ESLs). Companies like #Walmart (US), #Carrefour (EU), and #Sobeys (Canada) are rolling out ESL projects across their entire chains. Additionally, this year, Walmart and #Wiliot began deploying battery-free ambient IoT sensors for pallet tracking across the retailer’s massive US supply chain, with an expected 90 million pallets being tracked by the end of 2026. 📃 Read our latest article about the Bluetooth IoT chipset market: https://lnkd.in/eQq3cMvj Author: Satyajit Sinha #chipsets #bluetooth #iot #iotanalytics #marketforecast #marketresearch

Choosing the right connectivity for your project 🤔 You’ve defined your project needs, decided on your security approach and selected your sensor. 👉 How will you get that data to and from its remote endpoint? Before selecting a connectivity option, consider how your device will live in the world. 👉 Will it move? What other devices will be nearby? Is it mains or battery powered? How much data will it send or receive? Each scenario tells a different story: 🖨️ Networked printer, mains power, short bursts of high data: Ethernet 🏠 Home device, plenty of power, high bandwidth: Wi-Fi 🧍♂️ Wearable, tiny battery, with a phone: Bluetooth / BLE 🌾 Farm sensors, 1 km radius, solar, long life: LoRaWAN 🚚 Mobile tracker, country-wide movement: Cellular 🛰️ Remote sensors, no coverage, plenty of solar power: Satellite ⚙️ Industrial equipment, wired into a controller: Match the host connectivity There’s no single “best” choice, only the one that fits your design and use case. As you build, remember that your connectivity choice impacts the device’s power budget, enclosure, antenna placement, and even physical layout. #connectivity #iot #lorawan

Wi‑Fi in the coffee maker. An IP on the doorbell. Notifications from the fridge. That's the Internet of Things. As a CS student, I see IoT everywhere now. Your smartwatch tracking steps. Your car updating software overnight. Your thermostat learning your schedule. It's simple really: 🌐 Everyday objects get internet connectivity 📱 They collect and share data 🔄 They communicate with other devices 🎯 They make our lives more efficient The magic happens when these devices work together. Your alarm goes off. Coffee maker starts brewing. Garage door opens as you leave. All without you touching anything. But here's what excites me most. We're moving beyond convenience. IoT is reshaping entire industries. Smart cities managing traffic flow. Hospitals monitoring patients remotely. Farms optimizing crop yields with sensors. The possibilities are endless. Yet challenges remain. Privacy concerns. Security vulnerabilities. Data overload. As future tech leaders, we need to build IoT solutions that are: • Secure by design • Privacy-focused • User-friendly • Sustainable Every connected device is an opportunity to solve real problems. What IoT application excites you most? Smart homes, healthcare, or something else entirely? #IoT #TechStudent #FutureTech
