I went to support because I’m tired of people give me low ratings. Most of the low ratings that are on there have no reason why. The only one that shows a reason was wrong she she got a replacement and she approved the replacement. So anyway, I said to the most recent one I asked, which order was on, people go how do you know who the customer is. I say because two reasons I try to get to know my customers in case I have them again. I can give them better service without bugging them. Also, when someone is what I refer to as a needy Nelly, they definitely sticking your head. And I said I don’t know why this person would give me a one because I went completely out of my way to make sure that she got everything. It turns out and I was right. She was a load raider for no reason so it got removed. The thing is I shouldn’t have to do trust and safety job. All these people that are getting deactivated for no reason and trust and safety is not responding to them. I realize there is a lot of us out here, but if trust safety needs help, they should ask for more help. Because we should not take the head for the ratings out here when we’re doing nothing wrong
Making enterprise-grade AI accessible to all grocers is the most important part of this. This is how AI becomes a practical tool for everyone, not just the giants. It should certainly help sellers be more effective. I'll be interested to see the long-term impact.
Instacart, just so your customers can see the crap their delivery drivers deal with, I’ve got over 30,000 people who all submit these photos anonymously, there’s plenty more. But please, do explain, how exactly you pay for time and effort, while paying mileage? AND WHERE EXACTLY IS THE HEAVY PAY BONUS?? I’ve gotten 1 item batches that pay more than that and are only a block away with NO TIP. I’m going to go ahead and predict any answer you’d generally give us in chat when we message you guys about these inquiries. “Your order likely sat and the price goes up the longer it sits” Okay, so you intentionally start orders off at the lowest possible amount, hoping people are desperate enough to take those. If they don’t you raise the price to what you SHOULD HAVE PAID FROM THE START. my specific order that I mentioned that was worth more for only 1 item and 1 block away, was a fresh gig, like every other one of the people who deliver for Instacart, I have to remain glued to the screen to have a chance to get any work at all. So tell me, if milage was 7 miles, that’s $3.50 (roughly) not including the travel to store (WHICH YOU ADVERTISE to be calculated in milage) that leaves $7.35, between time/effort and the “heavy pay”
Instacart Still refusing to pay your workers what you say you will and instead, doubling down on AI. I see. You need to fix your app, and pay model first. Or is this an extra layer to screw more drivers out of money they earned? AI will not improve an app designed to underpay on a good day, and literally every other delivery we do, you take money from us for things out of our control like low inventory, and line your own pockets. Of course, other “gig” work does this as well. I can’t call out a company I haven’t worked for.
The reading system needs to be gone anyway because it’s not doing anything for anybody. Because you could have a good shopper getting low ratings because of the customer just does that and you could have somebody who’s at adequate shopper getting five stars because they live in an area that have really nice people. So yes let them show what’s wrong if there is. But don’t let them write anymore. And also take away people’s ability to rate if they’re going to abuse it.
