🌍Today is World Sustainable Transport Day, and it’s a good reminder that our industry still has a long way to go in reducing its impact.   At Flix, we always try to look at sustainability from a bigger picture, whether its about carbon-emissions, connecting smaller cities, or higher levels of transparency in our reporting. It is a key part of how we shape our strategy for growing and operating our business.   Even with the challenges in the industry. We have seen some great steps in the past years, for example:   📈Our network has increased 33% in new destinations over the last year. More importantly, around 1 in 3 destinations are in towns with less than 20,000 inhabitants, and often in places underserved by rail, making buses an important mobility lifeline.   ⚡Additionally, together with our partners, we now operate 120 buses with alternative drives like electric and biofuels. This is a 30% increase compared to the previous year.   🌿Fleet transformation is a key aspect of our ESG strategy, together with our Science-Based Targets pathway, with near-term decarbonization goals set for 2032. Scaling these technologies is not easy, but we are committed to pushing with our partners to achieve success.   Today, We are also proud to share that Flix has been recognized by EUPD Group as a Leading Company in the ESG Transparency Award 2025, scoring 87.98/100. This is a strong endorsement of our commitment to evidence-based progress. We know that transparency matters. It builds trust, drives action, and raises the bar across the industry. So, to get this recognition is a great acknowledgement of our teams' hard work.   💚We think travel should be available to everyone regardless of their economic or geographical background, which is why we are really happy to see the progress our teams have made to bring this to life.    Sustainable transport will only become more important in the years to come, and we will continue our steps forward. There is still some way to go, but we are on the right track.
