Angelee Brown - thank you for bringing the receipts. 👏🏾 🇨🇦 Canada stats (Canadian Franchise Association): 👉🏾 38% of franchisees are women 👉🏾 30%+ are visible minorities 👉🏾 12% of franchisor execs are women 👉🏾 8% are minorities After 20 years in franchising and living at the intersection of race and gender…I can say this: we still have work to do! Across franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers. Brands should reflect the communities they serve. And thank you for naming it: “diversity” isn’t code for “not white.” It’s about who’s included, who’s invited, and who sees themselves in your brand. If everyone knocking on your door looks the same, that’s a signal. Time to widen the invitation, build new relationships, and create culture people want to be a part of. 🔥
