What a night at Texas A&M University’s #TAMUDatathon! Students learned Databricks in under an hour and spent the night creating projects like semantic search engines, AI-powered safety apps, chatbot integrations, and more. Many teams pushed the limits of Free Edition and kept everything running inside Databricks from start to finish. Great work from the students! https://lnkd.in/gZ3vmv6p

I love seeing students jump into semantic search and LLM workflows so quickly. What Databricks has done really well is lowering the infra barrier so teams can prototype real AI systems without deep ops knowledge, its a huge enabler for the next wave of AI builders.

This is an impressive demonstration of how quickly students can adapt to powerful platforms like Databricks and create innovative applications. The range of projects from semantic search engines to AI-powered safety apps highlights the platform's versatility. How do you see such hands-on experiences shaping the next generation of data professionals' approach to real-world challenges?
