If you’ve had the pleasure of sitting down with Mike Gomez during Advisor Hours, you already know he is no BS. He gets right to the truth, cuts through excuses, and delivers the kind of clarity that sticks with you long after the conversation ends. And now, in true Mike fashion, he’s taken that same voice founders know so well and distilled it into less than 100 pages that hit just as hard as a one-on-one with him. Today, we’re excited to celebrate Mike, one of ATV’s most engaged Villagers, a longtime advisor, and someone who continually pays it forward to this community with the release of his new book: CHOICE: What Business Owners and Startup Founders Get Wrong About Growth. “CHOICE” is exactly what founders have come to expect from Mike: blunt, practical, and grounded in proven strategy and sales discipline. It’s part mirror and part wake-up call, exposing the blind spots and self-inflicted barriers that stall growth, whether you’re running an established business or building a startup from the ground up. No gimmicks, no hacks, no fluff. Just the truths and actionable guidance he’s spent 20+ years delivering to owners across every industry. In a community full of builders, Mike has always pushed us to operate with intention, focus, and honesty. This book is one more way he’s helping founders break through the noise and grow with conviction. Congratulations, Mike! We’re proud to have you in the Village and even prouder to celebrate this milestone with you. Order "CHOICE" book here: https://lnkd.in/eKVv92-J
Congrats Mike Gomez. And thank you for the many, many years of supporting and helping founders at ATV! 👏
Wow! Thank you, Atlanta Tech Village. I appreciate the recognition. People love to say you only learn by doing, and that mistakes are just part of the journey. I call that out for what it is. Learning through unnecessary pain isn’t noble. It’s avoidable. And it’s costly. That’s why Advisor Hours matters - and what makes ATV so unique. When you sit with a founder and help them see the blind spots before they burn time, money, or opportunity, you’re not robbing them of learning. You’re accelerating it. You’re giving them the benefit of experience without the scars. That’s real impact. It leads to smarter decisions, stronger companies, jobs created, and momentum for Atlanta. So if you’re part of this community and you’ve been debating whether to get involved, do it. Share what you know. Challenge someone’s thinking. Help them skip the mistakes made by others so they can grow. It feels good, it matters, and it builds the ecosystem we all benefit from.
Congrats Mike!!!
I got the book and have already found it very useful (only on chapter 3 so far). I recommend it to all founders in the ATV space. Seriously, it's gold.
Congrats Mike Gomez you’re playbooks and knowledge are some of the best and we’re lucky to have you as an advisor in the Atlanta eco-system!
Great stuff!
Ordered and can’t wait for it to be signed by the one and only Mike Gomez!
