Nathan Jun Poekert’s Post

What was working before on LinkedIn isn’t working any longer. Reach & Engagement is down. So I studied the analytics, looked at the dashboards, read what changes had been made to the algorithm and came up with a new posting strategy on Linkedin… and it worked in October. Brands and creators have to pivot to create the “curve” (something I often talk about in social content pivot strategies). You are not trying to get back to where you were because algorithms may not even let you. You’re trying to simply adjust your strategy and pivot your approach to create a curve. And this is where the right analytics and AI-powered insights can make the difference, what content resonates and what needs to pivot. Curious to know what algorithm changes have happened on LinkedIn? If there’s one thing social marketers know how to do, it’s pivot. Algorithms are constantly changing, and that’s not going away anytime soon. With the right research and framework, SMMs can stay ahead of the curve and get back on track. Huge thanks to Nathan for collaborating with us on this. We always love picking your brain 👏

You’ve got a special way to making complex data into understandable and actionable content, Nathan. Thanks for this.

Building a big audience doesn’t automatically bring opportunities. What matters is serving the right people with real value. Reach looks fancy, but only relevance drives results. Smart content + clear intent beats viral noise every time.

Always appreciate your data driven approach

Nathan, I saw a LinkedIn contributor who regularly posts 2 a week with decent engagement and reach - around 15K followers approximately. She claimed that her reach/engagement more than doubled, after changing her pronoun from female to male. Posting schedule, themes etc stayed the same. Test-period was a couple of weeks. Have you heard of anything similar? And do you think there is actually possibly a gender bias build into the platforms algorithm?
