Use headers and footers in Word
- [Instructor] When you have content you'd like appearing at the top or bottom of every page in your document, the last thing you'll want to do is go to every page and add that content manually. Instead, we can use something called a header or a footer to add content once and have it appear on every page automatically. It's what we're going to explore in this movie as we continue working with our Red30 conference document, 0502 if you need to get caught up. You can see at the top of page one here we have some empty space, thanks to our margins. Inside the margin is where our content goes, but outside the margin is where we can add content to a header at the top of our page, or a footer at the bottom of our page. Sometimes we see information like, for example, copyright information or page numbering. Well, we can add those to header and footer sections a couple of different ways.
