- The vast majority of organizations have interdependencies, and when your work isn't possible to complete. Until someone else responds, you pay a steep price for their ghosting. If someone is ignoring your emails, here's what you're going to say. First, I've tried to reach out to you three, four, seven times, whatever it is. The number. Seeing the history is often jarring enough to someone who keeps meaning to get back to you, but also keeps forgetting. Sometimes that line is all you need. Second, without your feedback, your information, the thing you said you do, I am consequence. I'm unable to move forward. I'm going to miss the deadline. I can't achieve this thing. Show them what's at stake and why that matters. Last part. In the event, I don't hear from you by defined period of time, I'm going to action. That action could be, I'm going to assume you don't have any feedback. I'm going to ask your manager for what I need. I'm going to deprioritize this project some kind of action…
