- [Narrator] Many Microsoft 365 web and desktop applications have a built-in feature called Dictate. It takes your spoken words and it transcribes these as typed text within the file that you have open. It's generally located in the same place for each of the Microsoft 365 apps, such as Word, PowerPoint, and as you see it here, OneNote, it's on the home ribbon. And over here to the right, we're looking for an icon that looks like a microphone. This is dictate, in the OneNote application it's located here in the group called Voice, if that helps you find it. Now let's go ahead and select it. You'll notice that we have a couple things happening here, a notification that it's listening, and we also have this pulsating purple color around the microphone, which indicates that the microphone is actively listening. I'm going to go ahead and just select this to stop it for now. If you were also looking over here to the left, you'll notice that a note container has been added and everything…
