- [Instructor] So what actually is discovery? You might have heard this if you've been on the client side or if you have been working on projects as maybe an admin as a project. Oh, it's in the discovery stage. We're working on discovery. We're doing discovery meetings, what have you. So discovery is essentially where you find everything out and you find out what the client actually wants. So let's get our brain situated into this scenario. Imagine you are a business analyst and you're a consultant. In this process of being a consultancy business analyst, there's a couple of different teams. There's a sales team, and the sales team, while you have maybe your account executives, you may also have sales engineers. And so what the sales engineers are, they are professionals or IT professionals who have a technical understanding, so then they can price the client correctly and kind of get a general idea of what the project is going be.
