Railings as road striping

- I got the idea for this week's tip for my good friend Jeffrey Pinero, the Revit kid. Jeffrey was telling me that his firm they use railings for road striping and for parking and other kinds of site markings because you can host the railings to topography. Now, I've discussed hosting railings to topography here in the series before. If you go back and search through some of the earlier episodes there was one where I did fencing and I made a fence railing type that would follow the topography. This example is going to be very similar to that although it's going to be a much simpler family to build because building the parking stripe is a pretty simple rectangle basically. But let's go ahead and go through the whole process. We'll kind of build a custom version of this and we're going to do a parking family and we're going to do a road striping family as well and both of those we're going to build with railings.
