- [Instructor] When you charge a fixed price for a job, you get paid that amount, no matter what your expenses are. Although you don't put the job expenses on an invoice, you do want to keep track of them so you can see your profit. Well, let's record some expenses for a fixed price job. Up at the top left, click plus new, and then choose check. The vendor I'm going to use is Justin Lawrence. I'm going to go down to the item details table and click the first product service cell. So let's say that this is for installation services. I'm going to select that to add it to the table. The quantity is going to be 24. In this case, I am not going to turn on the checkbox for billable. Because I want this to be associated with the customer I'm going to click the box for the customer and choose the customer that I want, which is Nolan Slater. But I don't turn on billable because this is a fixed price job. Also, I want to scroll over to…
