Adding video b-roll
Now that we've edited and tweaked the main foundation of our interviews, let's talk about how we can begin adding the visuals that will make the video richer and more engaging. I'm going to open up my 3.8 bin and load my pre-b-roll sequence. So I've continued laying in interviews of Vince, where he talks about his background and his philosophy about being a traditional farmer. And this is the A-roll. This is sort of the spine, the foundation of the program. It tells us the story. The B-roll, or the visuals, are gonna give it more flavor, more heart, and it'll also serve to cover up all of these jump cuts, which are a result of splicing lots of different moments within the interviews together. So I have this B-roll bin, and you can see that I've numbered the shots. This is just to make it easier for you if you would like to follow along in the order that I used B-roll.
