Using the masking tools to adjust a portion of an image

Previously, we've made global adjustments to our images, meaning that the adjustments have affected the entire photo. Now we're going to see how to use the masking tools in Camera Raw in order to make adjustments to selective areas in our images. I'll start by clicking on the Auto button, which gives a little bit of an enhancement to this image. I could make additional global changes, but I want to treat the three different areas of this image separately and apply separate adjustments. I want to apply a warm and darkening adjustment to the top. Then I want to isolate my adjustment to the water and the waterfalls, and then I want to adjust the foreground. I'll select the masking icon. There are a number of different masking tools. The select subject, sky, background, objects, and people all use artificial intelligence and machine learning.
