The Brushes and Brush Settings panels

There are a number of different brush presets and brush settings that we can use to customize our brushes. I'm gonna start by opening a new document that's gonna be seven by five inches in 8-bit as Adobe RGB. Then we can tap the B key to select our brush tool. And I'm going to right click or control click in order to reset the tool. And then in the brushes panel, I'll select the hard round brush so that I see the blue outline around it, telling me that this is the preset. If you don't see the brushes or the brush settings panels, you can use the window menu in order to view them. Now, when I paint with this tool, and I'm just gonna get a little bit larger of a brush using the right bracket key, we get a nice paint stroke. But let's try some of the brushes in the dry media presets. So here, I'll start with this first preset and use the right bracket key to enlarge the brush. And now I get a very different looking paint stroke. We can move down to the next brush, again, enlarging it…
