Use the Reading Pane
- [Instructor] When I am reviewing messages in Outlook, I want to have the Reading Pane displayed so that I can see the detail of a message. I can work with just one message, but I can also see my entire inbox still in the information viewer. I'm displaying the Reading Pane on the right-hand side. And remember that if you want to adjust the width, for example, of the Reading Pane, you can do that so that you have more or less room in the Reading Pane or in the information viewer. If your Reading Pane is not displayed right now, go to View. In the Layout group, click the drop-down for Reading Pane and choose Show on the Right to see it. The cool thing about the Reading Pane is that, while the Reading Pane is displayed, I have access to most of the tools I would have if I had this message opened, but I don't ever have to open it. I don't have to open this one, then close it, open the next one, and then close it. I can simply select a message in my information viewer and work with it…
