From the course: Microsoft Project Tips Weekly

Conclusion

- [Bonnie] After four fun years, I have recorded all the Microsoft project tips I can think of. I appreciate your hanging in here with me as I've covered topics, as easy as file opening and saving shortcuts to some seriously gnarly formulas. Out of more than 100 tips, I'd like to give a few of my favorites a shout out. My most brilliant idea goes to the tip for creating a hammock task. I copy and paste links start and finish dates into a tasks fields and voila, a hammock task that changes automatically when it's linked tasks change. If you're particular about how numbers display, I have a tip for formatting numbers just so by using, of all things, a custom text field. Another tip I am particularly fond of is the one to create a two week filter, so, I can see the work that's on deck for the next two weeks. And finally, for several months, I walked you through customizing Project to assess the quality of your project schedule. This endeavor uses lots of custom fields, filters and formulas, and wraps up with creating a dashboard and a report. I hope this example gives you the confidence to customize project to do what you want. While new movies have come to an end, I'm happy to help with your project questions. Simply ask a question in the course and I'll reply. Thanks again for following me on this journey. I'm Bonnie Biafore, I hope to see you soon in one of my other courses.
