- [Instructor] In this lecture, we're going to look at how to effectively set up and use management groups to help us organize resources when we have multiple Azure subscriptions. So the first thing we're going to do is, in the Azure portal, go to the search bar and perform a search for "management groups." Now, the first time you do this, you'll actually be presented with a message that says, "No management groups display." And all we need to do to get started is click the button to say "Start using management groups." Once you've done that, what it will actually do is create what's called the "Tenant Root Group." So this is the default and this we should always really leave this in place. And this is kind of like the the highest level of the hierarchy where we can assign roles or policies at. We can also see that our subscription that we currently have is set within this Tenant Root Group. So this means anything that we assign at this Tenant Root Group will apply to everything…
