- [Instructor] Structured data helps search engines understand the content on your web pages better. By adding structured data, you provide Google with detailed information, which can improve your search engine rankings and increase the chances of your content appearing in rich results and even AI overviews. So here is an example of me typing in pancake recipe inside of Google, and we can see some elements of structured data on these websites here with the pancake being shown, and we can see the website and also some reviews, the amount of time it's going to take to cook, and some ingredients. And if we scroll down the page, we can see some rich snippets as well. So you can add structured data to your website to increase the chances of your website appearing in these results. So if we go to Google's Structured Data Markup Helper tool, here is where you can actually add the page on your website that you would like to add more information to.
