- [Instructor] Multimedia elements like videos and audio can make your presentations more engaging and help explain complex ideas more effectively. In this lesson, you'll learn how to insert and control videos and audio in PowerPoint to enhance your slides. PowerPoint allows you to embed videos directly from the web. Go to the insert tab, click on video and choose online videos. Paste the link from YouTube or another supported platform and then click insert. You can resize and move the video just like any other object. When presenting your slides, To play the video, simply click the play button. If you want the video to play automatically, select it, go to the playback tab, under start, choose automatically. Keep in mind that if you apply any effects such as 3D effects or tilts to the video, the effects will only appear here on the thumbnail.
