- [Instructor] Images are a powerful way to grab attention and reinforce your message in PowerPoint. In this lesson, you'll learn how to insert, adjust, and optimize images to make your slides stand out. Let's start with how to insert images. Go up to the insert tab and click on pictures. Here, you can choose where to get your image, either from your computer, from Microsoft's library of stock images, or from online sources, which is Microsoft's Bing search engine. I'm going to select stock images. Here, I'm going to select this nice picture of a hot air balloon. Click it so that the check mark appears and select insert. With the image on my slide, I have several adjustment options in the picture format tab. Corrections, allows me to adjust the brightness or contrast of my image. Color, allows me to apply a filter or a different color scheme to my picture. Remove background, is a tool that can automatically detect and remove the background of an image.
