- [Instructor] Once you've created your presentation, you'll need to save or export it in the right format for sharing, presenting, or archiving. PowerPoint gives you multiple options from saving as a standard PowerPoint file to exporting as a PDF, video or image file. In this lesson, we'll cover how to save your work, export in different formats, and choose the best option for your needs. Let's start with the basics, saving your presentation. Go to File and Save. Depending on your organization, PowerPoint may save a file in a different location by default. It might be in your documents folder or in your OneDrive, et cetera. If you want to save it in a different location, click on More options. This lets you browse your computer and organize your files. Now enter a file name and choose a file type.
